Christmas Pictures

Okay, here are the only pics I got before my camera went dead. We really had a good Christmas. Hope yours was good as well.

Krysten and Kaitlyn in their Christmas dresses.

A quick family pic.
Kaitlyn stopped for a moment to take a picture. I can never catch her standing still.

Krysten is so photogenic!! She loves to pose.

Santa's gifts! Kaitlyn's barbie was actually taller than she was. It is hilarious to watch her try to carry it around. Krysten got her Nintendo DS.

Kaitlyn loves playing on my computer. She is so smart! On starfall.com, she can actually play the alphabet games. It is so fun to watch her. She just laughs at the little cartoons.

Krysten playing on her laptop (well, mine, but I gave it to her for her new room). She will sit and play on it all day long if I don't stop her. I bookmarked 7 different educational games websites.

Internet Withdrawals

I have been without internet for a week now because I had my computer switched to my bedroom. The cable guy just showed up today to "activate the outlet" in my room. My camera went dead after my first picture of the girls on Christmas Eve, so all I have is one picture of them in their outfits. The rest will come as hard copies when we return to school. I have ALOT to catch you up on in the Townsend Soap Opera. I think I'll email you and let you know. That will save a lot of time once we return to school. See you soon

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Thanksgiving night, we spent the night with MeMe and PaPaw Bud so that mama could go shopping for Black Friday. PaPaw read me Curious George....

and then I read it to him.

Black Friday afternoon, the girls knew what awaited them. On the day after Thanksgiving, we always put out our Christmas decorations. Believe it or not, the girls decorated ALL by themselves this year. They put most of the decorations out. All I did was help them reach the high areas once they told me where to put it, and I helped them set the table. It was so fun explaining each of their ornaments and watching them hang them on the tree. So, here are the pic s of their decorations that they are so proud of...

Kaitlyn sat perfectly still and loved the story of Jesus' birth. I explained who each person represented in the manger scene were. Her favorite character was the donkey.

We stopped for a moment to pose for a shot.

We even hung ornaments on the lamps.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a time for new beginnings in our family. Despite everything that's going on, the girls had a great time visiting relatives. Here are a few shots of them.

Time-Out

Kaitlyn did the funniest thing this morning on the way to daycare. I started singing with the radio and she yells from the back seat..."No! Stop singing!" I said "You're such a meanie. You're a meanie weanie". She laughed and said "I'm not a meanine weanie, You're in time out." So I acted like I was throwing a fit and crying and said "Waah, I don't want to be in time out!". She said "No, stop crying!" It was just too cute. I guess she hears it enough that she knows how to boss it. heheh

Just some miscellaneous photos of me. These are actually the only two pictures I have of me I think. I'm constantly taking pictures of everybody else.
Me hosting my sister's housewarming.
This one was taken around 10pm one night.

Halloween 2008

My mom made the outfits. They were too cute. The girls actually made some pretty good pictures at the Pumpkin Patch this year.

Pumpkin Patch photos

Me, Krysten, Kaitlyn, my sister-in-law Dana, her husband Adam, and their kids Luke and Cassie. Dana and I are cousins by birth, we married brothers, and our kids are now double-first cousins. Kinda-cool. We go to pumpkin patch every year together to take pics. It's our tradition.
